An Evening of Poetry & Music

$20.00

In turbulent times, we can open our hearts to soulful poetry and song to find courage, healing and vitality. Poetry and music can support us in remembering what it means to be human. In an anesthetized world, they can bring us home to our feelings, our affections, our deepest longings, heartbreaks, love, and the dreaming Earth.

Please join local poet, April Tierney, and local singer songwriter, Tara Behr, for an evening of soul-infused nourishment on Thursday, May 14th from 6:30-8:00pm at the new event space at KGNU Community Media and Cultural Center. These two women artists stand together in their deep love and heartache for our hurting world, eager to call us home to our bodies and hearts so that we might be better equipped for the turbulence. May their artistry inspire you to turn outward toward the world with your own gifts of beauty fully expressed.
